After four years, fifty three games, and one unrequited thirsty tweet at an ESPN sideline personality, the Prather Hudson era in Athens has come to an end:
The senior walk-on tailback and special teams extraordinaire is transferring to the University of Illinois, where he will hopefully get the chance to run free before the final five minutes of the ball game.
After redshirting in 2016, the Brookstone Baller played in all 53 games of his UGA career, an accomplishment in and of itself. Hudson was a perennial special teams contributor, a guy who could be plugged in all around the kicking game and expected to go barreling down the field with reckless preppy abandon.
