We have mentioned many times that college football is the greatest sport in America. The traditions, pageantry, history, unpredictability and importance of each game is like no other.
The game offers lesser known programs the opportunity to venture into the big boy’s backyard and create unforgettable moments. One of those moments came last weekend when the Akron Zips from the Mid-American Conference traveled to Northwestern of the mighty Big 10. Now we don’t typically (ok, never) cover MAC or Big Ten football when Georgia is not involved, but we do love college football and this is the exception.
