Monday, Dan Wolken of USA Today Sports reported that Georgia quarterback Justin Fields intends to transfer after just one season in Athens.
The reported news comes two days before national signing day, where the Bulldogs are projected to have yet another top-five class.
Potentially losing Fields, the No. 2 ranked player in the country for 2018, certainly deals a substantial blow to Georgia. However, the Bulldogs are fortunate to have sophomore quarterback Jake Fromm returning at starter next season.
Aside from the starting spot, many fans are probably wondering who’s on Georgia’s depth chart to take snaps?
