As some had been expecting for a while now, Morganton, North Carolina tailback B.J. Emmons has formally decommitted from Georgia. The four star tailback's late November commitment kind of came out of nowhere, and he had recently received an offer from Alabama and additional interest from Tennessee. And then there's just MaconDawg's old axiom that no early out-of-state commitment can be taken for granted.
What's more, it was looking more and more like Georgia under new running backs coach Thomas Brown was still shopping for tailbacks. Among the players still being recruited is Woodward Academy standout Elijah Holyfield, the son of former world heavyweight champ Evander Holyfield.
