Stud QB Eason sticks with Georgia

Quarterback Jacob Eason of Lake Stevens (Wash.) High announced Tuesday morning that he will attend Georgia, a huge recruiting win for new Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart.

Eason was a longtime commitment to Georgia (since July 2014), but he visited Florida and Washington and met in-home with coaches from Washington State after the firing of coach Mark Richt. Eason — who never decommitted — officially visited the Bulldogs over the weekend, and got to meet new offensive coordinator Jim Chaney.

Eason is a five-star prospect and one of the most coveted offensive recruits in the country. He has excellent size (6 feet 5, 220 pounds) and a big-time arm.
