Still no Nick Chubb at Georgia’s Wednesday practice

ATHENS, Ga. — It is looking less and less likely that Georgia will have running back Nick Chubb available Saturday against Tennessee. He missed Wednesday’s practice while continuing to rehab from an ankle injury suffered last week against Ole Miss.

Chubb missed the entire second half with the ankle injury at Ole Miss. He was not even on the sideline for the final 30 minutes of the game.

If Chubb cannot play, that likely means fellow junior Sony Michel would pick up his eighth career start at running back. This also could mean more carries for true freshmen Brian Herrien and Elijah Holyfield.
