The Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles have hired a pair of Georgia Bulldogs analysts to become assistant coaches in their program.
The Golden Eagles have tabbed Greg Meyer, who was serving as a special teams analyst for the University of Georgia, as their special teams coach. Meyer has earned his promotion. Him and Scott Cochran helped Georgia have one of the top special teams units in the country this season.
Meyer has had previous stints as Eastern Kentucky’s special teams coordinator and running back coach, as a Tennessee special teams quality control coach, and other roles at Cincinnati and Mississippi State.
