Kirby Smart addressed the media this afternoon in advance of Georgia’s first fall practice of 2018, and provided updates on several Bulldogs working to return from injury.
Jake Fromm for example is basically over the never-really-significant non-throwing hand injury he suffered in a boating incident. But no news on the injury front was bigger than the word that freshman tailback Zamir “Zeus” White is advancing nicely from offseason ACL surgery. Smart in fact went so far as to say White “will be full go” this fall, albeit with a protective brace on the knee.
That’s impressive improvement for a player who suffered a knee injury only last November that once ended playing careers.
