Alabama and Georgia are undefeated, ranked in the top five in the country and on a collision coarse for the SEC championship game on the first Saturday in December. There are many reasons for this, but one of the biggest is that those programs simply are recruiting better than their SEC rivals.
Success on the recruiting trail is nothing new for Alabama, which has had the top-ranked recruiting class for seven years in a row. Under Nick Saban, the Crimson Tide for years have put together terrific classes, filled with high-profile recruits.
