SEC Network analyst Matt Stinchcomb, a former Georgia offensive tackle, said Tuesday that the Bulldogs have a few defensive linemen who are “Jonathan Allen types.” Allen, who starred along the defensive line for Alabama, is seen as a certain first-round pick in the NFL draft Thursday night.
Stinchcomb, who was part of the SEC Network’s broadcast team for Georgia’s spring game on Saturday, was on “The Cube Show” on WUMP-AM/FM in Huntsville, Ala., on Tuesday to recap the contest. He said he thinks Bulldogs defensive linemen Tyler Clark, David Marshall and Jonathan Ledbetter are in the mold of the former Alabama star.
