SEC Network adds ex-Georgia QB D.J. Shockley as analyst, announces 2 new programs

Former Georgia quarterback D.J. Shockley is joining the SEC Network as an analyst, the network announced Monday.

Shockley, who led Georgia to the 2005 SEC championship, will debut with the network’s “SEC Now” this week. Shockley currently is the sideline reporter for the Atlanta Falcons’ preseason telecasts. He also has also served as a game analyst for Mercer football games on ESPN3 and as a studio analyst for Falcons radio broadcasts and other team-centric TV programs.

Shockley was at Georgia from 2002-05. He also spent four seasons with the Falcons as a backup quarterback.

In addition to the Shockley news, SEC Network also announced some new programs.
