The SEC is keeping tabs on Hurricane Matthew and how it could possibly affect two conference football matchups, including Georgia’s 7:30 p.m. game Saturday at South Carolina.

“As a matter of practice, the SEC communicates regularly with schools on signficiant weather issues and will remain in contact with the schools involved in both football games that have potential to be impacted by Hurricane Matthew this weekend,” SEC spokesman Herb Vincent said.
