The University of Georgia swimming and diving team has signed 27 student-athletes for the 2021 signing class, as announced by Tom Cousins Swimming and Diving Head Coach Jack Bauerle Friday afternoon.
One of the largest classes in Georgia history includes student-athletes from three countries, 12 states, two divers, one transfer, and three Athens natives. With a breakdown of 14 men and 13 women, the new class features multiple state champions and record-holders, as well as veterans of national and international competitions.
“We are excited to welcome this impressive class of signees to our program,” said Bauerle. “Each of our signees have already impressed in their junior careers and we look forward to furthering their development here in Athens.
