Just like football, basketball and oh what the heck, ice hockey as well.
Georgia added to its year of athletic mastery of Georgia Tech on Tuesday night at Foley Field, besting the Yellow Jackets 4-0. The Bulldogs have now topped Tech in four games in a row on the baseball diamond.
And as has been the case in recent weeks for the Bulldogs (22-7), the job got taken care of with clutch hitting and dominant pitching. Tony Locey, Kevin Smith, Zac Kristofak and Aaron Schunk combined to shut Tech out. It’s Georgia’s fourth shutout in six games and sixth overall this year.
