Los Angeles Rams promote former Georgia Bulldogs RB

The Los Angeles Rams have promoted former Georgia Bulldogs running back Thomas Brown to be their assistant head coach. Brown will continue to be Los Angeles' primary running backs coach in addition to his new role.

Thomas Brown, who played running back at Georgia from 2004-07, was hired by the Rams to coach the running backs in 2020. Interestingly, Brown is reunited with his former Georgia teammate Matthew Stafford this season. The Rams aggressively traded for Stafford this offseason.

Brown previously worked as South Carolina’s running backs coach in 2019 and was the University of Miami’s offensive coordinator from 2016-2018.
