Georgia wide receiver Riley Ridley was arrested Saturday on a misdemeanor charge for possession of marijuana, according to Athens-Clarke County booking logs.
Ridley was charged with possessing less than 1 ounce of marijuana, according to the log, and he was released on $1,000 bond later that night.
As a freshman, Ridley contributed 12 catches for 238 yards and two touchdowns for the 8-5 Bulldogs.
He has been expected to compete to be a starter in 2017.
