On Wednesday, UGA Athletics Director Greg McGarity announced that the home of the Georgia Bulldogs, Sanford Stadium, would begin limited alcohol sales during the upcoming 2019 season, according to DawgNation.
According to McGarity, “It’s available to a certain level of donors, but it’s not accessible to fans in general seating areas. We’re permitted to do it under the current rules as it stands now. We’re just doing it as a benefit to our donors.”
The sales will reportedly take place in a portion of the 200 level of the stadium, which is only available to high-level donors.
