According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, the New England Patriots are eyeing Georgia wide receiver Mecole Hardman in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Ahead of the draft, Hardman is one of a handful of receiver to have his name thrown around by the Patriots. Given New Englands recent history with Georgia players in the draft, it makes sense to predict that Hardman is near the top of their draft board for receivers.
Along with Hardman, the Patriots have also hosted Mississippi’s A.J. Brown, South Carolina’s Deebo Samuel, Arizona State’s N’Keal Harry and Baylor’s Jalen Hurd.
Hardman finished his final season at Georgia with 35 receptions for 543 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
