Georgia has added an opponent to its 2020 schedule.
The Athens Banner-Herald reported Friday that the Bulldogs and East Tennessee State, an FCS school, have signed a memorandum of understanding to play at Sanford Stadium in Athens that season.
Georgia will pay the Buccaneers $550,000 and provide 1,500 tickets as a part of the nonbinding agreement, which was signed on May 13. No precise date for the game was provided.
For Georgia, its meeting with East Tennessee State gives it its second non-conference for the 2020 season after its annual meeting with ACC school Georgia Tech.
