Report: Former Georgia QB Stetson Bennett Settles On Landing Spot

Last week, it was announced that Georgia 3rd string quarterback Stetson Bennett would be transferring to junior college.

The rising sophomore out of Pierce County has now decided on a landing spot. According to Anthony Dasher of Rivals, Bennett will attend Jones County Community College and will be eligible to play next year in Ellisville, Mississippi.

A member of Georgia’s 2017 signing class, where he joined Smart’s team, Bennett was stuck behind the highly recruited Jacob Eason and Jake Fromm. While Eason did transfer to Washington, Bennett again found himself down the depth charts, due to 5-star quarterback Justin Fields’ arrival in Athens.
