Former Georgia offensive lineman signee D’Antne Demery reportedly has landed at a junior college.
The Athens Banner-Herald reported Monday that Demery has enrolled at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas, where he will play on the football team this fall.
Georgia released Demery from his national letter of intent a day after he was arrested on April 22 for hitting the mother of his then-one-month-old child. He faces misdemeanor charges of simple battery/family violence, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.
The incident occurred in downtown Athens, Georgia following the Bulldogs’ G-Day spring game.
