As news spreads that Kirby Smart appears set to take over the Georgia football program, one question that remains (among many) is how his hiring would affect recruiting. If early Twitter reactions are any indications, that ship may be on the way to being righted.

We still don't know who Smart's offensive coordinator would be. Or whether tumors of big, dumb Muschamp football hitting town are accurate. But no one seriously doubts that Smart, a famously intense recruiter, can bring talented players to Athens just as he has to Tuscaloosa.
