For the first time in his NFL career, former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Matthew Stafford will not be suiting up in a Detroit Lions jersey.
After being traded to the Rams, the former No. 1 overall NFL draft pick will be looking to start the second chapter of his career in Los Angeles after 12 years in Detroit.
And so far, it appears Stafford is off to a really solid start in LA, impressing his new head coach Sean McVay.
McVay has had only positive things to say about the former Bulldog all offseason, but in an interview with Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, McVay could not contain his excitement over his new quarterback.
