QB Jacob Eason says he’s sticking with UGA: ‘I’m excited to get down there’

Jacob Eason reaffirmed his plans for the new year and beyond on Tuesday on where he will play college football.

The heralded quarterback is coming from the Pacific Northwest to enroll next month at Georgia, where he will begin competing for the starting job this spring.

It’s a big win for new Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart.

Eason’s announcement was made at his high school where he was named Gatorade’s national player of the year.
