Georgia junior QB Faton Bauta — who made one career start for the Bulldogs, against Florida this season — announced Friday that he will transfer out of the program.
Bauta already has graduated from Georgia and is eligible to play immediately next season as a graduate transfer at the school of his choice. He has one season of eligibility left.
“In my four years at Georgia, this university and this football program have allowed me to grow as a man and as a football player,” Bauta said in a statement. “I cannot thank Coach Richt, my coaches and my teammates enough for all they have done for me.
