Nearly four months ago, Georgia finalized a revised substance-abuse policy for its student-athletes.
It wasn't anything published, but there were a few items tweaked. The biggest item that no longer applies to student-athletes is that legal citations no longer automatically count as violations to the policy.
Georgia athletics director Greg McGarity and director of sports medicine Ron Courson fielded questions from reporters about the new policy in a teleconference.
