On March 12 , the Dawgs return to the field for spring practice with exciting new players, and a handful of new coaches. On the offensive side of the ball, Coach Smart just hired James Coley (wide receivers) and Josh Crawford (running backs ) to replace Bryan McClendon and Dell McGee. On the defensive side of the ball, Coach Smart tabbed Travaris Robinson as his co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach and Donte Williams as the defensive backs coach. The staff is now fully in place when drills begin. Here are a few key objectives and top players to be on the lookout for this spring.
