The MLB Draft began Monday night with the first two rounds of selections up to pick No. 70 featuring one Bulldog before action resumed again on Tuesday.
Georgia third-basemen Aaron Schunk was selected by the Colorado Rockies in the second round Monday at No. 62 overall.
Tuesday, a pair of Bulldog pitchers were taken early in the afternoon with the St. Louis Cardinals drafting Tony Locey in Round 3, at pick No. 96, before the Seattle Mariners selected Tim Elliott in Round 4, at pick No. 126.
Assuming all three of the Georgia players forgo their senior seasons to turn pro, that leaves the Bulldogs with some significant holes to fill for next season.
