The Georgia ‘Gymdogs’ opened the 2019 season with a dominant win over the Lady Buckeyes of Ohio State 196.600-194.900 at Stegeman Coliseum on Saturday.
Sydney Snead and Rachel Dickinson paced the ‘Gymdogs’ with 39.400 and 39.200 points overall. Combined scores of 49.125 on vault, 49.200 on bars, 49.075 on beam and 49.200 on the floor for the team led Georgia to an incredible season-opening win.
By scoring 196.600 points overall, the ‘Gymdogs’ finished with their best season-opening performance since 2007.
The next obstacle in this young Georgia team’s way will be the Oklahoma Lady Sooners on Friday, January 11th.
