Georgia Bulldogs running back Nick Chubb is out for the season after tearing three ligaments in his knee last weekend, including his PCL, and it could mean the end of his football career, per Bleacher Report NFL Draft expert Matt Miller.
Miller goes on to say how one NFL doctor believes Chubb’s career is over because unlike his former Georgia teammate Todd Gurley, he tore his PCL and two other ligaments while Gurley just suffered a clean tear of his ACL last season. Chubb’s recovery will thus take longer, with early estimates at 6-12 months.
A silver lining is that Chubb was not eligible for the draft this year, so he has plenty of time to recover from surgery and work his way back to 100 percent.
