Tracy Rocker’s Georgia defensive linemen lined up behind a cone and one after another put both hands on the ground for a pass rushing drill. They were asked to come out of their stance and come off the edge to slap away padded arms held by coaching assistants in this preseason practice.
One returning player, albeit one who was on the scout team last season, was told to do the drill again when Rocker was left unpleased. The veteran coach instructed him again.
Freshman Justin Young from Grayson, a defensive end, went next and did it just right.
