The New York Jets have hired former Georgia Bulldog Hines Ward as a full-time assistant coach. Ward has been a coaching intern for the Jets, where he’s helped wide receiver coach Shawn Jefferson throughout training camp. Robby Anderson, Quincy Enunwa, and Jamison Crowder are the talented core of players Ward is coaching. Ward’s coaching should help one of these receivers reach another level. Robby Anderson projects as the Jets most likely wide receiver to make a Pro Bowl.
Ward had an incredibly successful NFL career playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ward is currently a Hall of Fame candidate.
