New England Patriots tight end Ben Watson is returning from a four week long suspension. Watson, a former Georgia Bulldog, was suspended after failing a drug test. Watson contemplated retirement after losing in the 2018 NFC Championship Game to the Los Angeles Rams.
The ex-New Orleans Saint is expected to suit up for the 4-0 Patriots. Watson will provide a boost to the New England passing game. In a rare event, Tom Brady failed to throw a passing touchdown this past week at Buffalo. New England held on to beat the previously undefeated Buffalo Bills 16-10.
Watson will provide a red-zone target for Brady and will provide some run-blocking support.
