Four-star offensive tackle Andrew Thomas committed to Georgia on Sunday. The announcement was made on the final day of Nike’s The Opening in Beaverton, Oregon, which was broadcast on ESPNU.
He later made the same announcement on Twitter.
The 6-foot-5, 310-pound Thomas told UGASports.com that he’s choosing Georgia, because he believes in what the coaches are selling about the future.
“It was my relationship with the coaching staff and the business program, which is what I want to major in,” Thomas said. “Plus the lack of offensive tackles they have right now.”
