You don’t win by four touchdowns on the road in the SEC without somebody stepping up. And of all the players who stepped up in the Georgia Bulldogs’ 43-14 win over the Tennessee Volunteers, these were the up-steppingest. The MVDs: Most Valuable ‘Dawgs.
Offense: Jake Fromm. Fromm completed 83% of his passes while throwing for a season-high 288 yards. Perhaps most important he extended his streak of games without throwing an interception. For those who find such things instructive (even though they’re not), Justin Fields completed 68% of his passes for 205 yards and a really poor decision resulting in an interception for Ohio State in a win over Michigan State.
