Mecole Hardman ‘still transitioning’ for Georgia, but emerging as a playmaker

ATHENS, Ga.— Georgia has been looking for a leader to emerge in the passing game and might have found its answer on Saturday night against Missouri. That man could be sophomore Mecole Hardman.

The newly converted wide receiver had his most productive game of his young career, pulling in two catches for 71 yards and one touchdown. Hardman also took in a touchdown run of 35 yards in the 53-28 win.

The sky seems to be the limit for Hardman and this Georgia offense. While this was a promising showing, Hardman believes he still needs to create more opportunities for himself.
