A jam-packed, beautiful weekend in the Classic City filled with Dawg victories is always a pleasant sight, and this past Friday, Saturday, and Sunday was not a disappointment for the red and black.

The Diamond Dawgs hosted Lipscomb for a three-game series over the weekend, posting shutouts on Friday and Saturday, winning 10-0 and 7-0. Their 3-2 win on Sunday with some extra innings magic secured the sweep for Georgia.
On Friday, Luke Wagner (3-0) took to the mound for the start and posted a career-high six-inning appearance. Nolan Crisp took over and gained the save.
