Four-star tight end Maliq Carr announced his top two schools: the Georgia Bulldogs and the Purdue Boilermakers. Carr put the Georgia Bulldogs among his top two, which was a blow to Michigan, who missed out on an in-state prospect. The 2020 prospect is from Oak Park, Michigan and plays at Oak Park High School. Carr announced his top schools and commitment date on Twitter:
As a top-five tight end in the country, Carr would be a good fit in Athens. Georgia’s top two tight ends, Eli Wolf and Charlie Woerner, are both seniors. Kirby Smart and company will try to fill the void this pair will leave behind.
