Floyd was one of 19 players who were listed as participants. Others of particular interest to pro scouts were linebacker Jordan Jenkins, wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell and running back Keith Marshall.
Floyd, considered a first-round draft pick, took it relatively easy on the day. He sat out part of the workouts with an upset stomach. His vertical jump was measured at 35 inches; he jumped 39.5 inches at the NFL Scouting Combine. Floyd also took part in some of the agility tests, including the three-cone drill.
He’s already met with some teams and will continue to get more face time with coaches.
