Lady Dawgs Rally Falls Short

With the rigor of the SEC when it comes to women’s basketball, there’s little room to rest. Once conference play starts, there are few places to hide and have an off game.

That’s the crux of where the Lady Bulldogs (12-8, 3-4) basketball program finds itself following Sunday’s 58-53 loss at home to Alabama. Georgia fought back after a dismal second quarter, trailing by as few as two points in the closing stages following a 6-0 run before ultimately falling short.

As usual, Caliya Robinson carried the load, scored 13 points and pulling down 10 rebounds while Maya Caldwell stepped up with a season-best 11 points.
