Throughout much of this season, when Georgia is on top of its game, good things happen in the third quarter.

On Thursday night against Auburn, the Lady Bulldogs didn’t wait until after halftime, lowering the boom on the Tigers in the second quarter in a dominating 63-30 Southeastern Conference victory at Stegeman Coliseum.
Georgia (15-6, 3-5) and Auburn (13-8, 3-5) wrestled to a 15-15 draw after the first 10 minutes, but from that point on, the game and the night belonged to the Lady Bulldogs, who outscored the Tigers 19-3 in the second quarter to blow things wide open.
