Georgia coach Kirby Smart will earn $3.75 million annually through the 2021 season, according to the Athens Banner-Herald.
Smart, who is entering his first season with the Bulldogs this fall, has now signed his full contract with the school after previously signing a memorandum of understanding, a nonbinding agreement, when he was hired this past December.
The contract pays Smart $2.27 million for fulfilling media obligations (radio/TV and public relations) and $1.08 million for equipment endorsements, on top of his $400,000 base salary. The new Bulldogs coach also stands to make upwards of $1.6 million in bonus pay, including $1 million if the Bulldogs win the College Football Playoff national championship.
