Georgia coach Kirby Smart is trying to cover every contingency for Saturday’s game with Florida, and he said Wednesday that includes getting his defense ready for Gators backup quarterback Malik Zaire.
“I certainly expect to see Malik Zaire because I think he’s a good athlete,” Smart said on the SEC coaches’ teleconference. “We always anticipate things like that so we can be prepared for it.”
Zaire has played in one game this season, in the Gators’ season-opening loss to Michigan.
