ATHENS, Ga. – Georgia coach Kirby Smart apparently takes issue with reports about injuries sustained by his players.
During Thursday’s practice, freshman defensive back Deangelo Gibbs suffered what appeared to be a shoulder injury, which several reporters wrote about after witnessing it.
Smart, though, was less than amused by that and made his frustration clear when later asked about the injury.
“Considering I haven’t had a lot of time to talk to the trainers, but it’s nice to know you guys have found it in your hearts to report it,” Smart said after practice.
