Kirby Smart Provides Update On Injured Starting Lineman Solomon Kindley

When Georgia football’s starting offensive lineman Solomon Kindley went down with an injury on Saturday against Vanderbilt, Georgia fans at home and in the stands held their breaths.

The Dawgs were already running thin on the line, and with a big game against LSU this weekend, Georgia needs all the experience it can get, especially in a hostile environment.

Kindley was carted off the field, leaving fans to expect the worse. But on Monday, Kirby Smart told the media that the redshirt sophomore left guard suffered a “mild MCL sprain” in his right knee.

Smart mentioned he is hopeful that Kindley will be able to play Saturday in Baton Rouge.
