Georgia wide receiver George Pickens tore his ACL in March, but is hopeful to make a return to the gridiron this season.
The junior receiver met with orthopedic surgeon James Andrews and has now been cleared for non-contact football activity for two weeks.
“I was excited for George, I guess two weeks ago Monday or Tuesday, he had a meeting with Dr.Andrews,” Smart said. “He felt like he was in a really good spot and cleared him to do some football activity, in terms of route turning, things on air, not contact.
