While meeting with the media on Friday, Georgia coach Kirby Smart provided an encouraging update on freshman running back Zamir White.
White, who came to Athens as a 5-star running back out of Laurinburg, North Carolina, tore his ACL during his senior season of high school football for Scotland High back in November.
His status has remained iffy throughout the offseason, but Smart said on Friday that White is “full go,” and will wear a protective brace on his knee.
White told SECCountry in January that the training staff gave him an expected return date of “hopefully camp.
