Georgia’s Nick Chubb and Sony Michel are receiving the hype this summer, but head coach Kirby Smart says a different aspect of the team’s offense will determine whether the Bulldogs find success in 2017.
“You can have the best backs in the world – ask LSU against Alabama,” Smart told Frank Frangie and Hays Carlyon on 1010XL Jax Sports Radio at SEC Media Days. “If you can’t throw the ball, you will not be successful. We’ve got to improve passing the ball, and if we do that, it’ll improve the other areas.”
The second-year head coach pointed to the continued development of quarterback Jacob Eason as the top priority for Georgia.
