Kirby Smart excited to have Georgia’s “special” new indoor facility

ATHENS — Four hundred seventy-five people donated a combined $36 million to the Magill Society to make the new Georgia indoor athletic facility a reality. This means no more bus trips to the Atlanta Falcons’ practice facility in Flowery Branch when the Bulldogs cannot practice outside.

Kirby Smart now gets a chance to coach his team inside this brand new facility. He did not have the luxury of this climate-controlled environment as a player.

Smart was joined in these days of tough practices by former Georgia players such as Champ Bailey, Marcus Stroud and Richard Seymour.
