Heath Holder walked up for postgame interviews Saturday after Georgia lost 11-4 to Kentucky, and after hearing the first question, he shook his head and said “I just didn’t have it.”
The frustrations of the Diamond Dogs (14-6, 1-1 SEC) were palpable, but Holder was especially peeved. He followed up a no-hit bid from last week with a forgettable outing against Kentucky (13-5, 1-1 SEC).
Holder pitched into the fourth inning, but was pulled after only getting one out. The Wildcats used four hits and four walks to get five runs off Holder. He labored all afternoon and finished with 74 pitches.
